2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Barossa Valley

Colour Deep cherry red with a crimson hue.
Nose

Rich, attractive aromas of ripe red currant, blackberry and mint leaf, with well integrated delicate oak contributing some vanillin and cedar nuances. Expect to see some development of cigar box and leather characters with age.
Palate

Typical of the region, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon has rich, ripe berry and minty leaf characters that are well integrated with fine vanillin oak notes. Firm velvety tannins give length and structure creating a wonderful lingering mouthfeel. This wine can be enjoyed now, but will also reward extended cellaring.
